Stefano Selvatico, One Machine



Stefano Selvatico was born in Pontevico, Italy in January 1989. He picked up a bass guitar after being introduced to rock and metal by his elder brother, He studied bass under guidance of bass master Roberto Galli (Ivana Spagna, Umberto Tozzi,…) at Lizard Music Academy.
He began his career playing in bands in and around Italy and made his recording debut with Brescia based metallers Penthagon. The band went on to win the Italian Waken Metal Battle contest which saw them playing Waken Open Air Festival in 2010.

He then moved to England to pursue his career further, joining UK metallers Savage Messiah. He recorded two albums with them that were distributed worldwide (Earache Records, Century Media, Trooper Entertainment), toured the UK and Europe extensively and played various Festivals such as Bloodstock Open Air, Devilstone Open Air, Hammerfest and many others.

After parting with Savage Messiah he then filled in on bass for One Machine in December of 2014, for their show supporting Korpiklaani and by February found his permanent home in the band taking over bass duties.
